What is an Audio Conference?
How it works
Biowood Energy's audio conferences are much like a large conference call in which the featured speaker makes a presentation over the phone.
As a registered participant, you simply:
- Dial a toll-free number from your phone.
- Enter your personal access code and you are connected!
Note: International dial-in via standard phone number.
You then sit back and listen to the presentations and join in the lively question-and-answer discussion that follows.
How many people can attend?
As many can attend as you want. With an audio conference the charge is per phone line, not per person. Many registrants have colleagues join them in a conference room to listen to the audio conference together on a speaker phone.
This offers a number of advantages over conventional meetings:
- No travel time
- Lower per-person costs
- Presentations by leading experts keep you on top of important industry issues
- Integrate audio conference materials (through purchase of recordings) into planning sessions
How do calls work?
You register for an audio conference right here, on Biowood Energy's website. After signing up for a conference, you receive a confirmation email that contains the call-in number, personal access code and the presentation materials.
On the day of the audio conference, 10 minutes before the start of the program, you will call into the number that was provided to you and enter your personal access code.
You can submit questions via email or ask live questions at the end of the presentation.
How long is each audio conference?
As a busy professional, you will be glad to know that we designed these programs with you in mind. Most Biowood Energy audio conferences are one hour in length. Each session is scripted for an audio format and engages the listener in a lively discussion.
If you cannot attend a particular audio conference, purchasing a digital download allows you to listen to the presentation at your convenience.
I am located outside the U.S. -- can I participate?
Absolutely! U.S. attendees can dial into a toll-free number. Overseas attendees receive a regular phone number to dial. Otherwise, your experience will be identical.
